Information for travelers to the Russian Federation

Dear travelers to the Russian Federation.

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Jamaica has the honour to inform of the following.

Please be advised that in order to enter the territory of the Russian Federation at the official border-crossing point you will be asked to present your valid passport with a correspondent visa to the Border Officer.  A combination of a valid visa and an expired passport will not be considered suitable to allow the entry.

In case your passport has already expired or will reach its expiration date earlier then 6 month after your intended day of leaving the Russian territory, please contact the Consular Section of the Russian Embassy to find out about possibility of transferring your visa into a new passport.
